Bring it on December!
I just finished reading Sula for my on-line English class. Depressing. Yet oddly comforting. Toni Morrison has this way of writing that makes me feel like my feet are in warm mud. Like this line: "They held hands and knew that only the coffin would lie in the earth; the bubbly laughter and the press of fingers in the palm would stay aboveground forever." I love that line because it has such a strong presence in the description of the physical but is so evanescent at the same time.
I just want to say, "November, you sucked! Try to be better next year." Really, it was cold and wet and went too quickly. Tomorrow will start a better month, of this I am confident. Viola is already talking about going to Seattle for Christmas. She can't wait to visit all the Grandmas and Grandpas, Aunties and Uncles and Lily, Katy B, Willow, Buddy and whatever other pets have invaded my parents home.
I have a huge stack of photos to be dated and stored in photo albums. It is going to be a horrible project because I have no idea when these photos were taken beyond February(they have Baby A in them, so must have been taken after she was born-- aha!).
Baby Avery is trying to tear down the DSL router now so I better go.
