We did the deed today. Cosette got AI'ed again this evening. She did not seem to enjoy it much at all. She is really starting to resent the vet shoving his whole arm up her behind. But this, I'm told, is how it is done. *sigh*
I had my riding lesson tonight and it was fabulous. I worked up a big old sweat. I had 'the moment'. Sometimes when I am riding the universe shifts and suddenly it's like everything has been slightly out of tune and is put into perfect harmony. I can go there now in my head. The wind was really blowing and the sun was low and coming in the side of the arena and was on my face. We were moving like a river, together. I know, it sounds horribly cheesy but it is that sweet spot of unity and communication for which I ride. All the hours and days I am out there with the horses, they are all for those moments when it clicks together.
Yeah, and then we went out for Mexican and if you can't tell I did my duty in terms of drinking down the pitcher of margaritas. I'll have another, please. Pitcher, that is.
Damn, too bad I have to get up in the morning tomorrow. My head hurts just thinking about it.
I really hope Cosette gets pregnant this time around. I want that baby!
