I have a big day: we find out if Cosette is pregnant at noon. Then I have my mid-year performance review at 1:30. Then I have class at 6:30. I'd be running right now if I hadn't stupidly left my iPod playing and used up all its juice. It is recharging and then I will run. To top it off, Dean hid my purse in the top of the closet. I had to wake him up so he could tell me where it is. I never go into the top of my closet. Why would he put it there?
We did laundry last night at the laundromat- all the comforters and big stuff. I know I've written before about how much I love the laundromat. I love the efficiency of it. I love the great big washing machines with windows. We went to a new laundromat this time. This one is across from an Albertsons. This place is particularly cool because it has washing/drying equipment that range from new to about 40 years old. It is totally hit and miss as to which machines actually function. They have a soap vending machine which probably hasn't worked since 1960. All the little boxes of Tide inside have housewives in heels looking really happy to be doing their mens' laundry on the front. While our laundry was laundered, we went across the way and bought a watermelon. Dean met up with us and after spinning the kids around in the wheeled laundry cart a bunch of times, we went next door and got a 'Taste of India'. It was okay. The decor was a little shabby(that's being generous). The service was surly. The curry was good and they brought us a huge pile of tandoori chicken with our 'dinner for two'. Still, I missed my Bombay Garden.
Went home, made the bed and crawled in. I fell asleep to the olympic equestrians galloping about. I dreamed about flying.
Here I am, awake again.
