I got the fryer. I decided on a large capacity, digital model. Turns out it was the right choice. It is easy to clean and fries like a mother. Mommy, that is.
Tonight I made chicken nuggets and french fries and they were mighty tasty, cooked up in a vat of canola oil from Costco. It is really tempting to start throwing little odds and ends in there: hmm, how would a piece of fried raisin bread taste?
All I can say is that I love it!
But we've agreed... no twinkies, no catfish and it only gets to come out not more than once a week.
Cosette mangled her leg today. The vet came and she has a huge injury just below her hock on the left hind. She can barely walk. So, she's on bute and antibiotics(I have to crush 14 giant horse pills for her, twice a day). This horse, I don't know what I'm going to do with her.
