Okay. I've got to stop. I don't know what it is, but this year's shoes are irrsistable to me. I love the platforms, the peep-toes, the 3-inch heels, the round toes, the ballet flats, the muted metallics, the patent leather...
Speaking of patent leather, with my penchant for wearing black and the whole love of tunic-and-legging I've got going on now, I decided I must have something in black patent leather. FOUND!! Yes, I got these little lovelies for a mere pittance at a local discounter. Look at that yummy peep-toe! Ahh, and the delightful platform. They fit perfectly, are comfortable and look absolutely fabulous with blue polish on the toenails. I can't wait to wear them with ... oh, just about anything!
And now for that which I covet. Look to the left here. The Amera pump from Imagine by Vince Camuto. It's love, twooo love. I just don't know if I can justify yet another black pump purchase this season. I've got my basics covered. What do you think? Should I go for it? I love the heel which looks thick from the side but stiletto-thin from behind, the hidden platform.. and yes, even tho it's not a true pee-toe, it hints at it. The square toe is just dfferent enough to appeal to my rebellious nature. I think this shoe will last a few seasons.
This next pair are from Boden. Aren't they delightful? Look at that cute little bow and that nice covered heel! Oh-so-feminine! God knows, being the big lug that I am, any little touh of femininity I can add to my wardrobe, the better. Remember how I was trying to branch out and add more brown to the wardrobe? Well, one must have shoes to match the lovely silk and cashmere brown sweater one might wear someday, no?
Yes, and look at this luscious cardigan from Boden. I mean, what else am I going to accessorize my brown boots with? I see this over my brown tweed skirt or maybe with jeans...
Okay, but enough about clothes and shoes.
HA HA HA HA!!! As if!
Yeah, okay. Nothing exciting happened today. I went to work. I came home and crawled into bed. Oh, yeah, I found out my insurance is denying my surgery. Oh no, no, it's fine, I don;t mind if I bleed out into my intestines. Oh! I did eat really good mexican food for lunch. I had a Pollo Verde burrito. All the food in St. Helena is just fabulous. I'm completely ruined now.
