So, I finally went to the doctor(s) this week.
I got a my flu shot. Whopee!!
I also went to see Dr. Raad Al Shaihk. He's the orthopedic doctor who fixed my arm when I broke it last December. It turns out that my hip problem isn't really a hip problem. I have something called spinal stenosis. I went for an MRI today and will know more after I go back to Dr. Al Shaihk next week.
I also have a new primary care doctor who I like very much. He is being very proactive about my intestinal bleeding. He's running his own tests but he at least has offered some alternmative treatments that my former PCP didn't suggest that don't involve blood transfusions. He's also recommending I see a hematologist regarding my genetic disorder- seems intuitive, but again, not something my previous doc recommended. I feel like I am in good hands now.
Okay, now I sound like one of those old women and all they talk about are their health problems.
Work was grueling this week and will continue to be until I go on vacation for Christmas, but I'm enjoying it right now. I'm working pretty closely with my major client and we've got alot of momentum, really making progress. It's nice when you like the people you work with enough to look forward to go to work, too.
Dean interviewed with Google today. We'll see how tha goes. Could make life interesting here in the near future.
I ordered pizza AND Indian food tonight- I'm on a Thanksgiving leftover rebound I guess.
We have all our Christmas decorations up now. I'm going to spend the weekend working on our handmade Christmas gifts for Dean's family.
Sorry to be so lame and boring. I'll try to find some excitement to share soon, I promise.
