• "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" --Mary Oliver

  • Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs, and the little voice inside you the yells, "can't!" But you don't listen; you just push harder and then you hear the voice whisper "can" and you realize the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

When we're cooking a lot at home, I'm always shocked at how not really all that good most restaurant food is. We usually stick to some form of Asian when we go out, because we sure as hell don't know how to make great Pho or sushi ourselves.

Yummmm bacon, one of my favorite food groups. Now the only thing we take out now is pizza, so if anyone has a good pizza dough receipe, pls let me know. Plus after hearing about the potential hepitatis outbreak from Wolfgang Puck's catering employee, I'm freaking. No more restaurants. I quit. Point finale!

You can do so much better at home! I swear! Here is the best pizza dough recipe ever:

Combine 1 3/4 C Flour with 1/4 oz quick-rise yeast, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp olive oil. Mix it up in the food processor using the plastic dough blade attachment. Process until it comes together. If it is sticky still, and mine usually is- add 1/4 cup more flour and process until it comes together in a ball. Put it in a greased bowl(just smear some oil around a mixing bowl) and place in a warm spot (I stick it in the bottom half of our wall over and ether turn the oven on for a minute to warm it up a little or if I'm heatin the top oven, the bottom is warm enough.

Let rise for half an hour and voila!
